Erie County Offers 2009 Golf Passes at 2008 Prices

Limited time offer makes great Holiday gift

The Erie County Parks Department has introduced a must have present for the golfer on everyone's Holiday shopping list. Throughout the month of December, Erie County residents can purchase Gift Certificates for: golf season passes; individual golf rounds or cart rentals; and shelter rentals at 2008 prices.

Parks Department employees will be on hand at all of the upcoming Santa Land events selling these great gift ideas for the golf lover in every family. Santa Land will be held at Chestnut Ridge Park on Saturday, December 6 and 13, and Sunday, December 7 and 14, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Free to the public, those attending Santa Land are being asked to make a donation to "Domestic Violence Shelters of WNY."

Gift Certificates will also be available through the Parks Department until December 29, 2008. Orders can be placed by phone Monday - Friday from 8 AM until 4 PM at 858-8355. The Parks Department will be accepting cash, check or credit card payments, although there will be a service fee if payment is made with a credit card. Orders will be taken over the phone, and certificates will be mailed to a valid address when payment is received.
